When you hire through the AuditLens Marketplace, a small published fee is added to the project amount. Nothing hidden.

Implementation projects

Per project

Client (project owner): 2.5%; added to the project amount
Implementer: 2.5%; deducted from the payout

Example: on a $10,000 project, the client pays $10,250 and the implementer receives $9,750.

Audit & certification projects

Per project

Client (project owner): 3%; added to the project amount
Auditor / certification body: 7%; deducted from the payout

Example: on a $10,000 project, the client pays $10,300 and the auditor / certification body receives $9,300.

Who can sign up as a client?

Any organization working toward a compliance standard such as ISO 27001 that wants help from a professional — to implement requirements, or to be independently audited and certified.

Do clients need to be verified?

No. Create your client profile and post your project — there is no verification step for clients. The implementation experts and certification bodies who send you proposals are verified by AuditLens.

Do I have to publish my project publicly?

No. A public project is listed on the project board and any verified professional can propose. A private project is not on the board or anywhere public — you invite the freelancers and firms you want, and only they can see it and propose.

How are expert services priced?

You choose how: a fixed price, an hourly rate, or asking professionals to propose a price. Expert services are agreed with the professional you hire and are separate from your AuditLens subscription. AuditLens adds a published marketplace fee to the project amount: 2.5% on implementation projects and 3% on audit projects.

Can the same firm implement and certify us?

No. Implementation and independent certification are separate activities, delivered by separate providers. Certification bodies are listed separately from implementation experts.
